An Israel citizen has been arrested on suspicion of being paid by Iranian sources to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to Israeli police. The citizen, who was not named, was reportedly approached by Iranian agents while living Turkey.

Other potential targets included Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant, Shin Bet head Ronen Bar, or even former prime minister Naftali Bennet.
